- Do not resist authorities to avoid escalating the situation.
- Politely request to contact the Consular Section of the Embassy.
- Provide consent to notify the Embassy of your arrest or detention.
- Inform authorities of next of kin’s contact info in Germany and Kenya.
- Seek legal advice before answering questions; you have the right to remain silent until counsel is present.
