• The Pet Import Licence is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
• Processing normally takes up to two (2) working days upon submission of all documents.
• Applications must be submitted by post. Incomplete applications will be returned.
• Cash payments are not accepted under any circumstances.

• A written request letter from the pet owner addressed to the Kenyan Embassy in Berlin.
• Copy of the Pet Passport or Export Health Certificate.
• Evidence of up-to-date vaccinations against rabies and any infectious or contagious diseases.
• A valid Veterinary Health Certificate confirming that the pet is fit to travel.
• A non-refundable processing fee of €10.00 per pet payable only via bank transfer to:

  BIC: COBADEFFXXX (Commerzbank Berlin).
  Please include the pet owner’s full name as payment reference.
• A copy of the bank transfer slip attached to the application.
• A secure, registered, and trackable self-addressed envelope with prepaid postage (Einschreiben – Rückschein) clearly indicating the applicant’s full name and postal address for dispatch of documents.
