All applications for a new Kenyan passport are made online via the eCitizen platform. Applicants must complete the online process before visiting the Embassy for biometric capture and submission.
Visit eCitizen PortalAll passport applications must be completed and paid for on www.ecitizen.go.ke under the Department of Immigration Services before booking an appointment at the Kenyan Embassy in Berlin for biometric capture.
Please ensure your application is complete and accurate before visiting the Embassy. Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Documents may also be sent by post. However, biometric capture must be done in person at the Embassy during working hours.
Processing of new passports takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks from the date of successful biometric capture and submission. Applicants are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
