New Passport Applications – Kenyan Embassy Berlin

Applying for a New Kenyan Passport via eCitizen

All new passport applications must be completed through the official eCitizen platform. Applicants are required to create an account and fill in the passport application form under the Department of Immigration Services section.

  1. Visit www.ecitizen.go.ke.
  2. Create an account or sign in to your existing profile.
  3. Select the Department of Immigration Services.
  4. Complete the online passport application form.
  5. Pay the applicable passport fee through eCitizen.
  6. Print the application form and three payment invoices.

Required Documents

  • Duly completed online passport application form printed from eCitizen.
  • Three invoices printed from eCitizen after payment.
  • Original and copy of Kenyan ID card or birth certificate.
  • Original and copy of parents' ID cards or passports.
  • Two recent passport-size photos with a white background.
  • Old passport (if applicable).
  • Certified copies of relevant supporting documents (e.g. marriage certificate, affidavit, etc.).

Booking an Appointment at the Embassy

After completing your application and printing the necessary documents, applicants must book an appointment to present their biometric data at the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Berlin.

Note: Applicants must appear in person for fingerprinting and photo capture. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
