Our Head of Mission, Amb. Stella – Mokaya Orina OGW accompanied a Kenyan delegation, led by Principal Secretary ALEX WACHIRA , CBS (Ministry of Energy and Petroleum), during a highly productive working visit to Bavaria, Germany.
The entourage held a fruitful meeting at the Bavarian State Chancellery and also attended an official session of the Bavarian State Legislature, during which Kenya received special recognition.
Strategic discussions centred on key mutual growth drivers such as knowledge sharing, skills development, and labour mobility.
The highlight was Kenya as the guest country at the Augsburg Off-Grid Energy Expo 2025. The Kenyan delegation showcased the government’s vision and renewable energy innovations and expanded its networks.
Tours of advanced facilities, such as GP JOULE, a powerhouse in renewable innovation, from hydrogen to biomass power production, were great learning opportunities and advancing Kenya-Germany collaboration for 100% renewable future 🌎.
